Strathcona County, Alta. – The Strathcona County RCMP will be hosting their annual kids bike rodeo and safety fair on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Strathcona Athletic Park located at1100 Cloverbar Road in Sherwood Park, Alta.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include:
- Demonstration from the RCMP Police Dog Service
- BBQ put on by Enbridge (while supplies last)
- Bike obstacle course
- Cotton candy, popcorn and face painting
- Booths from community partners
- More fun family activities
Two police dog demonstrations will take place, one at 12 p.m. and the other at 2 p.m. on the track and field space (Bleachers for seating).
The bike rodeo portion of the event will take place in the outdoor rink and will include a bicycle inspection station administered by Mud Sweat and Gears, helmet fitting by Giro Helmets and a skills course for children administered by the RCMP and Enforcement Services Bike Patrol Unit.
