Strathcona County RCMP Investigate Theft of Meat Worth Over $100,000

Strathcona County, Alberta – On January 22, 2018 at approximately 5:00 a.m. Strathcona County RCMP responded to a theft from Fins Seafood Distributors located on Cree Rd in Sherwood Park.

At approximately 1:00 a.m. suspects broke into a locked trailer located in the back parking lot and stole several pallets of meat including crab, salmon and steak. The value of the stolen meat is estimated at over $100,000.

Vehicle #1: Described as a dark blue Dodge Caravan with front plate or decal on front bumper.

Vehicle #2: Described as a silver Ford F150 with a burnt out passenger taillight. The box of the truck appears to have a black liner and plate in the rear window of driver’s side.
