Strathcona County, Alberta – On Monday May 7, 2018 Strathcona County RCMP and Strathcona County Emergency Services responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Baseline Road and Broadview Drive in Sherwood Park.
A Chevrolet Sonic was travelling westbound on Baseline Road when it made a U-Turn at the intersection of Broadview Road and was hit by a Dodge Caravan travelling eastbound.
The 24-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Sonic and 22-year-old passenger were transported to hospital and both remain in serious condition.
The 55-year-old driver of the Dodge Caravan was also transported to hospital but has since been release with minor injuries.
Strathcona County RCMP Traffic Services continues to investigate and charges are pending.
