Strathcona County RCMP Investigates Home Invasion

Strathcona County, Alberta – On Sunday November 4, 2018 at approximately 10:41 p.m.  Strathcona County RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence near Ardrossan, east of Sherwood Park.

Three males entered the residence and when confronted by the homeowner the suspects deployed bear spray and fled. The suspects stole a 2006 Gold Jeep Grand Cherokee (Alberta Plate BZX 8539) that was parked in the driveway. The vehicle has not been located.  

The homeowner received minor injuries as a result of the bear spray.

The suspects are described as Caucasian, approximately 6 feet tall, with a slim build and clean shaven.

Strathcona County RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.
