Sherwood Park, Alta. – A 68-year-old male had been arrested in relation to a bomb threat at a bank on Baseline Road in Sherwood Park on April 18, 2019.
The male went inside the bank and advised staff that he had a bomb in his briefcase and another inside his vehicle. The RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit attended and determined there were no explosives inside his briefcase or vehicle.
Georges Louis Roy of Edmonton has been charged with:
- Assault
- Uttering threats
- Resist arrest
- Public Mischief
- Mischief
Georges was released on a recognizance and scheduled to appear in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on May 8, 2019.
