Strathcona County, Alta. – One male has been charged in relation to a firearms incident on June 22, 2019.
Paulus Henricus Boland (69) of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Pointing a firearm
- Careless use of a firearm (x 5)
- Possession of a weapon
- Uttering threats
Boland was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on June 26, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.

Strathcona County RCMP on scene of incident – Range Road 233
Strathcona County, Alta. – Strathcona County RCMP along with the Emergency Response Team and RCMP Air Services are on scene of an active investigation possibly involving a firearm.
The RCMP have set up an area of containment near Range Road 233 and Township Road 520 & 522 in Strathcona County.
There is no risk to the general public given the containment area established by the RCMP.
