Strathcona County RCMP Seeking the Public’s Assistance in Pedestrian Collision

Strathcona County, Alta. –  On Jan. 16, 2023 at 9 a.m., a witness contacted the Strathcona County RCMP to advise they had witnessed a youth being hit while in the crosswalk at the intersection of Broadmoor Blvd. and Strathcona Drive in Sherwood Park, Alta.

At approximately 8:14 a.m., local video surveillance captures a white 2011 to 2016 Ford Super Duty coming into contact with the youth while turning south onto Broadmoor Blvd from Glenmore Ave. The male driver did speak to the youth prior to leaving the scene. The youth was identified and determined no injuries were sustained as a result of the collision.

Police are looking to identify the vehicle and driver involved in the collision.
