Sherwood Park, Alta. – On Nov. 2, 2020 at approximately 11:53 a.m. Strathcona County RCMP responded to a residence in the Lakeland Ridge area of Sherwood Park for a suspicious person’s complaint.
The complainant believed he was approached by two individuals impersonating police officers and immediately called police to report.
Police located the individuals and it was determined they are peace officers participating in a legitimate project to assist law enforcement agencies.
We always encourage the public to contact police when they observe suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods so police can respond in a timely manner.
