Strathcona County RCMP Investigate Theft of Firearm From Local Store

Strathcona County, Alberta – Strathcona County RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in gathering information on the following crime:

On March 7, 2018 at approximately 8:00 a.m. a firearm was stolen from the Canadian Tire on Ordze Road in Sherwood Park. A male cut the firearm cabinet lock and was observed taking a brown Chiappa 12mm rifle. The male concealed the rifle and left the store without paying.

The male is described as Caucasian, 5’10 and last seen wearing, jeans, black jacket with an orange/red collar and an oilers toque. He appears to have a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Strathcona County RCMP are releasing surveillance images in an attempt to identify the suspect.
