Strathcona County, Alberta – On November 22, 2018 at approximately 4:55 a.m. Strathcona County RCMP arrested a female wanted out of Calgary, during a traffic stop in Sherwood Park. Subsequent to arrest a search was completed and police seized numerous stolen documents, identification and property from inside the vehicle.
Rebecca Millicent POWLESS, age 38 of Calgary, Alberta was charged with over one hundred Criminal Code charges some of which include;
Twenty-Five counts of possession of identity documents.
Fifty-six counts of possession of stolen property under $5000.
Nineteen counts of possession of identity information.
POWLESS was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
The seized items belonged to individuals in various locations including; St. Albert, Airdrie, Edmonton, Spruce Grove and Calgary.
