Strathcona County RCMP Seeking Assistance in Locating 72-Year-Old Male

Strathcona County, Alta. – Strathcona County RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 72-year-old Robert Edmonstone. 

The last confirmed location of Edmonstone was at his residence on June 24, 2019 at approximately 9:00 a.m.  There have been unconfirmed reports that Edmonstone was seen at the Hope Mission Low Mobility area on June 25 or 26. He is known to frequent other shelters and the Royal Alexander Hospital.

Edmonstone is Caucasian, weighs approximately 170 pounds and is approximately 5’ 9” tall. Edmonstone was last seen wearing a white jacket, red/green/grey pajama's, and black or brown dress shoes. Edmonstone has blue eyes, white hair has a short full beard and moustache. He wears glasses and uses a walker. He does not have a cell phone and most often travels by taxi or transit.

RCMP are concerned for Edmonstone’s health and well being as he has Type 2 Diabetes and has a history of a brain injury.
